We’re excited to share our partnership with Centro de Los Trajabadores, whereby Spanish-speaking participants can take our Foundations of Digital Literacy course and gain valuable skills, confidence, and workforce readiness as they learn the foundation skills necessary to be competitive job candidates. 

Our recent JFS Job Fair was the place to be for more than 150 Denver-area job seekers! With 21 employer partners in attendance, those looking for first jobs, part-time employment to supplement their income, or opportunities to climb the career ladder explored possibilities with the hopes of securing meaningful employment.

Internships are an opportunity to gain real-life work experience and determine your true passion. Our JFS vocational team was fortunate to have University of Denver student Sela Kline join the group for several months while she completed her senior year at school.

The JFS Vocational Training program supports personal skills growth with three different learning opportunities. On Monday, Dec. 18, we were honored to celebrate the graduation of the most recent Foundations of Digital Literacy class and share the successful completion of the course with participants.

For those hoping to find a new job, learn a new skill, or gain practical learning opportunities and hands-on experience, our JFS vocational training program is ready to take proficiencies to the next level. For one Digital Literacy student she not only learned new skills to support her current job responsibilities, her confidence grew along with her accomplishments.

Thanks to the new JFS Vocational Training program, practical learning opportunities and hands-on experience could be what you need to take your skills to the next level. Our new program supports personal skills growth with three different learning opportunities.

Our JFS Job Fair was a success with job candidates who practiced their elevator pitches, had headshots taken for LinkedIn, learned about JFS programs and services, signed up for classes, and enjoyed lunch. Most important, however, was the opportunity for job seekers to apply and interview on-site for positions.
