This service is completely free of charge to businesses, as JFS receives funding from federal, state, and local governments, private and community foundations, and generous individual donors. In addition to candidate referral assistance, JFS provides ongoing support to employers and JFS-referred employees alike to ensure a positive, successful employment experience. How JFS Equips Job Seekers to Become Competitive Job Candidates
JFS provides employment services to a wide variety of job seekers in the Denver metro area. Services for job seekers include a Job Search Accelerator program, group and individualized workshops, classes, and training on resumes, cover letters, job search techniques, LinkedIn bios, and interviewing. JFS also provides trial work experiences for those with a limited employment history or a desire to explore a new career.
For job seekers who benefit from more substantial support after accepting a job offer, JFS supports every aspect of the process, from individualized onboarding support to ongoing job coaching. All services are focused on overcoming barriers to employment while empowering clients to be successful.
JFS understands that other aspects of a person’s life may affect their ability to obtain and maintain employment. JFS connects job seekers and placed employees to holistic services to ensure that they have what they need to be a successful employee, such as adequate food on the table, mental health support, and informed financial plans.

JFS Employment Services partners with job seekers in the Denver metro area who are unemployed, seeking a career change, face barriers to full and equitable employment, as well as employees who benefit from additional support to maintain employment.
The Denver workforce is diverse, and so are the job seekers. JFS partners with: Newly unemployed people with all types of work experience, unemployed parents receiving Colorado Works benefits, job seekers with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), US work authorized refugees, and older adults with extensive work experience seeking new employment opportunities.
