Passover 2024: Finding hope and joy, together

Passover Seder

JFS Boulder and our volunteers helped nearly 200 older adults and JFS clients celebrate Passover. Seven volunteers helped pack and deliver 50 Kosher for Passover meals to Jewish adults in the area, three supplied hardboiled eggs and pans full of homemade charoset for seders, and 22 volunteers helped lead seders at 13 older adult communities, including two new partner facilities who look forward to working with us in the future.

Thank you to ALL the volunteers who brought this holiday of hope to older Jewish adults in Boulder. Special thanks to B’ Mitzvah students and staff from Congregation Bonai Shalom. This outstanding, energetic and engaged group of young people helped lead the seder, serve the meal and engage with the people living at Golden West Senior Living, who were utterly delighted.

If you would like to be notified of holiday volunteer opportunities, contact Tina at tkantor@jewisfamilyservice.org or 720.248.4608.
