JFS Boulder is accepting mental health clients

Boulder County is in a mental health crisis plagued by long waiting lists for therapy and closed panels for providers accepting insurance. While 93% of Boulder County residents have private insurance, they cannot quickly access care or must pay exorbitant private practice self-pay rates. According to the 2022 Boulder County CASOA, 43% of older adults feel depressed, and 42% feel lonely or isolated. These are troubling figures when coupled with the fact that 63% of Boulder older adults feel there is no affordable, quality mental health care available to them.

JFS Boulder connects people in crisis with access to quality mental health providers in person and remotely with counseling sessions and support groups to combat mental health struggles, overcome trauma, and fight loneliness and social isolation. Our professional therapists are ready to work with clients to offer high-quality outpatient support, and we are committed to helping, improving, and making a difference in the lives of those who are struggling with mental health issues. While everyone’s wellness journey is different, finding a community that will understand you is critical to your overall well-being—and it’s where our JFS Boulder mental health team can help.
