Russian Mental Health Services
The Russian Mental Health program provides accessible, affordable mental health services for underserved Russian-speaking immigrants and refugees who have resettled in Colorado.
Mental health services are provided by highly skilled, professional, bilingual, and bicultural psychotherapists who specialize in treating trauma and strengthening individuals and/or a family’s abilities to be nurturing, stable, and safe. Russian Mental Health clients have access to the entire range of JFS’s services, including case management, food assistance, and rent and utility assistance.
Jewish Family Service is the region’s only agency that provides mental health care for the Russian-speaking immigrant population in their native language. We offer counseling, psychiatric consultation, and case management to all Russian-speaking older adults, adults, adolescents, and children at our office. Our psychotherapists also provide consultations at nursing homes, conduct home visits for home-bound clients, facilitate psycho-educational groups at Kavod Senior Life, and facilitate seminars and discussions at adult day care centers.
The program’s master- and doctorate-level clinicians are well-trained and experienced in their fields, and work diligently to help each client attain stability, well-being, and self-sufficiency.
