Medication Management
JFS connects individuals needing psychiatric medication with a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) who can provide medication management and prescriptions. This service is available to anyone ages 6 and up who may be receiving talk therapy elsewhere but cannot be prescribed medication by their provider or individuals who are simply interested in learning more about psychiatric medications for themselves or a family member.
Our Nurse Practitioner is licensed and nationally board certified to provide psychiatric care for patients with mental illness, specifically in prescribing and managing psychiatric medications. They work collaboratively with JFS therapists and external referring therapists to ensure proper medication and dosage are prescribed for acute and chronic mental health conditions.
We accept clients who are uninsured, underinsured, covered by Medicaid, Medicare, and private pay insurance.
