Greeter Training and Engagement

JDA knows the importance of feeling welcomed and valued as you enter a space. To assist greeters, ushers, and congregants in ensuring ALL individuals are welcomed with respect and care we created the following resources.

Greeter Training Video Provides information on how to be welcoming to individuals of ALL abilities for those serving as greeters at a Jewish organizational event and/or worship service. 

Greeter Training Tip Sheet Complements the Greeter Training Video and clearly outlines the tips for greeters to welcome participants of ALL abilities.

2019 Bookmarks Nine different bookmarks with information about different types of disabilities and tips about how to best engage with people with those disabilities.  These bookmarks were created to increase awareness and inclusion of people with disabilities in the Jewish community and may be helpful to greeters.
