May is National Mental Health Awareness Month

May is National Mental Health Awareness Month and is dedicated to raising awareness about mental health and fighting stigma. It is also a time to check in with yourself and ask if you or your loved ones need additional support, want to make healthier choices, and are the best version of yourself.

JFS provides mental health services to help individuals improve their quality of life and achieve greater emotional wellness and stability. Licensed therapists counsel children, adolescents, adults, and older adults to help people grow and change. In addition, JFS offers mental health services to the Russian community, immigrants, and refugees to support them while they adjust to life in Colorado.

High-quality therapy and support are provided virtually or in person in a private and confidential setting in Denver and Boulder. Therapists help with anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief and are skilled in marital issues and parenting concerns.

JFS's innovative KidSuccess program places trained therapists in Denver area schools, providing children and adolescents access to quality counseling services so they can succeed academically and emotionally.

Mental health services should be accessible to all. That's why JFS offers various payment options, including private insurance, self-pay, Medicare, Medicaid, and the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP).
