A Special “House Call” for JFS Volunteers

To thank our volunteers for their remarkable support throughout 2020, the Volunteer Services team e-delivered a video message of new year cheer from Dr. Brad Nieder, the Healthy Humorist®!

This short video was created especially for JFS volunteers by Dr. Brad, a professional keynote speaker and long-time member of the JFS community. Described as “Jerry Seinfeld with an M.D.,” Dr. Brad delivers his unique brand of happy, healthful, and inspirational humor to audiences around the country.

Physicians, nurses, bankers, teachers—people from all industries—have benefited from the comedian doctor’s house calls. It’s an unusual medical practice, but when Dr. Brad dispenses humor, inspiration and education, it just may be the best preventive medicine available!

Dr. Brad, his wife, Sara, and their three kids have volunteered in various ways for JFS for many years. In fact, his son, Isaac, recently completed his bar mitzvah project to benefit JFS. He collected approximately $7,000 worth of toys, including monetary donations that were used to purchase toys at a discount from Mattel and distributed to our clients for our Bright Holidays program.
