Cultural Orientation Instructor
Volunteers teach refugee participants a basic American cultural orientation class helping them develop skills and understanding on how to navigate their new environment. Curriculum is already developed through the Cultural Orientation Resource Exchange (CORE): https://coresourceexchange.org/. Instructors in small groups to help participants learn basic information about America and the Denver area.
Commitment: Classes can be conducted once or twice a month. Thursdays, 9am – 1pm.
Additional Requirements: Volunteer must attend the resettlement info session and additional specialized training.
