Mental Health Services
JFS Boulder provides ongoing high-quality outpatient mental health support to adults and youth who need therapy.
The team of skilled mental health professionals is committed to supporting, improving, and making a difference in the lives of those struggling with mental health issues.
Our therapists help clients with:
Anxiety and depression
Family issues
Grief
Loss
Older adult issues
Trauma
Veteran issues
All of our therapists are trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and can provide services virtually and in-person. EMDR uses bi-lateral stimulation (eye movements, tapping, etc.) to process challenging life experiences and to reduce emotional distress. Research on EMDR shows positive treatment outcomes for trauma, depression, anxiety, OCD, and addiction.
We accept Medicaid, most major insurance providers, self-pay, sliding scale, and have funding for uninsured individuals and families. Staff is not available to provide services for high-needs residents who require a greater level of psychological/psychiatric care. Sessions are offered virtually and in a private practice setting located in central Boulder. We provide therapy sessions for Spanish-speaking or bilingual individuals.
