Refugee Resettlement Volunteer Opportunities

Updated on March 11, 2025: Due to the current stop work order, we are temporarily not receiving new refugee arrivals. Therefore, we are currently not recruiting new volunteers for this program. For more details, please refer to JFS's official statement: JFS Refugee Resettlement Program Statement. 

Fundraising is currently our main priority due to the loss of federal funding. JFS needs to raise $183,000 to provide direct cash assistance and staffing for the 137 refugees we are supporting, covering rent, food, and essential needs from January to September 2025. Organizing a bake sale, pop-up shop, or other community-driven events would significantly impact these families.
