Help support the JFS Weinberg Food Pantry
It’s simple to hold a food drive in your school, church/synagogue, or neighborhood. Blue reusable tote bags or JFS collection barrels can be provided for participants to fill with nonperishable food items. Bags should include the flyer below that lists the most needed food items for our Weinberg Food Pantry.
You may volunteer to sort and pack food, help clients select items, and assist with several other important tasks in the food pantry. To learn about the commitment, requirements, and to sign up, visit jewishfamilyservice.org/volunteer/weinberg-food-pantry-volunteers.
Collect donations for the Food Pantry and volunteer your time.

About JFS
Share this information with your family and friends so they can learn more about the work done at JFS.
JFS is a nonprofit human services organization that serves anyone in need – regardless of their circumstances or religious beliefs. We believe in a shared responsibility to support impactful changes throughout our community.
Founded 152 years ago, we currently offer more than 30 programs and services, including food security, housing stability, mental health counseling, aging care, employment support, refugee resettlement, chaplaincy and Jewish life, disability services, and aeroponic farming. JFS takes a holistic approach, assessing the various needs of the individual or family and provides the appropriate services all from one organization. We continuously evaluate the evolving challenges of our community and adapt or develop programs that respond to the resulting needs. Last fiscal year, JFS provided 145,141 services including visits, sessions, classes, and deliveries to 32,338 clients across multiple programs.
More information about specific JFS programs can be found in our annual report.
