We are so thankful for our JFS Boulder volunteers! This dedicated group made the High Holiday and Thanksgiving celebrations brighter for those in our community. 

High Holidays 

Last fall, JFS coordinated High Holiday celebrations with nine older adult communities. Thank you to the following people for helping at our 2023 High Holiday celebrations and delivering holiday treats to homebound older adults:

Thanksgiving meal couriers 

On Tuesday, November 21, JFS volunteers delivered 22 meals to homebound older adults in the Boulder area. Thank you to the following volunteers for spreading some holiday joy by bringing freshly made holiday meals to clients:

JFS staff worked with Chabad of Northwest Metro Denver who cooked and delivered Thanksgiving meals to six older adults in need in Boulder.  

Katie Schminky’s children and some girl scout troop members decorated colorful Thanksgiving cards to cheer up meal recipients even more!
