Our JFS Vocational Training program offers practical learning opportunities and hands-on experience so clients can take their skills to the next level, including those who are interested in the exciting world of AutoCAD® design. 

During the AutoCAD® Design class, students dive into the world of 2D and 3D design, which benefits design professionals and individuals in the architecture, engineering, and construction industries. JFS AutoCAD®/Autodesk Trainer, Omar Al Ezzi, shares his experience with one of our AutoCAD® Design training students. 

I'm honored to share the inspiring success story of one of my exceptional students, Danny. From the very beginning, he demonstrated an incredible commitment to his learning. Despite having no experience with AutoCAD®, Danny never missed a class and showed unwavering enthusiasm for mastering the software. He faced numerous challenges along the way, including technical difficulties with his laptop, which we helped him overcome with a loner laptop to ensure he had the tools he needed. 

What truly stood out to me was Danny’s determination. Although AutoCAD® was entirely new to him, and everything felt unfamiliar, he never gave up. Danny’s tuition was funded through SNAP, and he learned about our program via Workforce newsletters. Although he attempted the certification exam twice and faced setbacks, he didn’t let it deter him. In fact, Danny took matters into his own hands, purchasing a voucher for the exam on his own without telling me and reaching out to ask if I could proctor it for him. I was more than happy to support him. 

Danny is one of the most respectful and driven students I’ve had the pleasure of teaching. His ambition and dedication to learning are truly commendable. It was a joy to have him in class. When Danny took the exam for the third time, he passed with an impressive score. I couldn’t be prouder of his achievement! 

We’re excited to share that Danny is currently working with our Career Services team to find job opportunities that use his AutoCAD® skills.
