Congrats to our recent Digital Literacy graduates
Technology skills are necessary to be successful in today’s job market, and for a recent group of individuals looking to find a new job, develop existing skills or learn new ones, they took their skills to the next level.
On Monday, Dec. 18, eight participants celebrated their recent Foundations of Digital Literacy accomplishments with their peers, family, and JFS staff. The graduation through the JFS Vocational Training program signified proficiencies in:
Basic computer and Internet skills
Emails systems: Microsoft Outlook and Gmail
Windows and Mac OS
Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Google Drive, Docs, Slides, and Sheets
Add information (hopefully) from a graduate.
The JFS Vocational Training program supports personal skills growth with three different learning opportunities, including Administrative and Customer Service, AutoCAD Design, and Foundations of Digital Literacy. All programs include career readiness classes and job search and resume assistance, and space is limited for all classes to provide the best learning atmosphere.
