On October 4, guests learned about JFS Altius Farms, spent time with friends, and celebrated Sukkot—while being inspired by the work we’re doing together throughout our community. They: 

• Listened to remarks from Linda P. Foster, JFS President and CEO, Aaron Hyatt, JFS Board Chair, and Sally Herbert, Director of JFS Altius Farms. 

• Learned how Altius Farms will help JFS food support programs and help combat hunger. 

• Toured the greenhouse. 

Thank you to our Board of Directors for their support and investment in JFS’s needs today and for thinking ahead about what’s next to ensure we continue to make the greatest impact for the greater good. A very special thanks to John Keith for spearheading and researching our social enterprise options, including aeroponic gardening, the pursuit of Altius Farms, and mushroom-controlled environment containers. And our heartfelt appreciation to Diane Cushman Neal and Scott Neal for their early investment in JFS Altius Farms.
