Older Adults

As people age, they may require assistance to maintain their independence or quality of life. JFS Senior Solutions provides a variety of services to help older adults stay strong, well, and independent. Our experienced care managers provide consistent care, ease transitions, and create a vibrant support team for seniors and their families.

Aging in Community
Colorado Senior Connections is a program designed to help seniors stay in their own homes. It is open to all residents over the age of 60 who live in a designated neighborhood or building.

Boulder JFS
Boulder JFS provides care management to older Jewish adults and Jewish community members with disabilities.

Counseling
As we grow older, our lives may become more stressful and difficult. You may feel that you need someone to turn to, a trusted friend who can offer advice, resources, or just listen. Counseling services are available on an affordable sliding-fee scale, based on income. We accept most insurance plans, including Medicaid.

Geriatric Care Managers
JFS geriatric care managers are skilled professionals who specialize in assisting older adults and those responsible for their care in addressing the challenges of late life.

In-Home Services
For those who require assistance to care for their own homes, we provide light housekeeping services, including kitchen/bathroom cleaning, laundry, changing linens, vacuuming, dusting, and grocery shopping. Services are also available for people battling cancer or HIV/AIDS.

Outreach
Senior Outreach is an advocacy service for Jewish people residing in nursing care facilities.

Senior Programs at the JCC
Jewish Family Service of Colorado (JFS) and the Robert E. Loup Jewish Community Center (JCC) are teaming up to provide social, recreational, educational, and health programming to older adults. The programs will all take place at the JCC under the new name of JFS at the JCC Colorado Senior Connections.
