International KidSuccess

International KidSuccess addresses the mental health needs of refugee and immigrant students in their school environment. The main goal of this program is to facilitate cultural adjustment and address social-emotional needs. The services within the program include:

• Adjustment groups • Teacher training
• Psychotherapy • Parent education

We currently help more than 700 students at South High School and Merrill Middle School in Denver, whose families recently emigrated to the United States. In addition, therapists are working in three elementary schools in Denver Public Schools and one elementary school in Cherry Creek Schools.
