Employment Support

Employment

We provide employment services to jobseekers, including job application and résumé assistance, workshops, and individualized job assistance. We also partner with Denver metro area businesses and organizations by providing them with qualified and assessed job candidates at no charge. We partner with the Denver Department of Human Services to serve unemployed parents (TANF recipients) receiving Colorado Works benefits by providing holistic case management and job readiness support.

Housing Stability & Food Security

The Community Resources for Stability programs include case management, emergency financial assistance, and food for people in crisis. We help people in need access benefits and additional community resources to help them identify and overcome barriers to self-sufficiency.

Mental Health Counseling & Services

Mental Health Counseling & Services

Our professional mental health therapists provide quality counseling to children, adolescents, adults, and older adults with the goal of helping people grow and change. In addition, we offer mental health services to immigrants and refugees to help them adjust to life in Colorado. JFS places therapists in schools throughout the Denver metro area to provide free mental health services to students and their families through two unique programs—KidSuccess and International KidSuccess.

Jewish Community Chaplaincy

Baskin Jewish Community Chaplaincy

The Baskin Jewish Community Chaplaincy Program, led by Rabbi Rick Brody, focuses on providing direct spiritual care for members of the Jewish faith who may not be affiliated and are ill, in crisis, or near the end of their lives—in hospitals, nursing homes, mental health institutions, correctional facilities, or at home.
