Home Care Provider Program - Help Caring for the Home

For individuals living with physical disabilities or a chronic illness, it is imperative that their homes be kept clean and safe and that services are available that allow them to maintain independence. JFS has a staff of qualified individuals who ease the burden of caring for your home while you focus on taking care of yourself.

Home Care Provider duties include:

• Cleaning kitchen/bathrooms • Vacuuming
• Laundry • Dusting
• Changing linens • Grocery shopping

Heavy cleaning and lifting services such as carpet shampooing, mattress turning, wall washing, and window washing are not available.

An in-home evaluation for the service is performed by a Jewish Family Service care manager. Service is provided every other week for two hours. Home Care Provider fees and a semiannual Care Management fee will be charged on a sliding-fee scale based on client income.
