Geropsych Counseling

As we grow older, our lives may become more stressful and difficult. You may feel that you need someone to turn to, a trusted friend who can offer advice, resources, or just listen. Jewish Family Service Geropsych counselors are caring professionals who understand the concerns that can accompany aging.

Geropsych counseling addresses these issues:

• Anxiety and depression • Retirement issues
• Grief and loss • Loss of independence
• Pet loss • Caregiver issues

We provide a myriad of resources, including in-home counseling, home visits, problem solving, caregiver support, and information and referral. Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, and private pay are accepted. Sliding-fee scale available. All client information is kept private and confidential. We can help ease your concerns about growing older.

Information: Cathy Grimm, (303) 597.5000, cgrimm@jewishfamilyservice.org. If you are having a life-threatening emergency, or you need immediate assistance, please call 911.
