JFS Counseling Center

Everyone needs a helping hand from time to time. Our psychotherapists are master's level social workers and marriage and family therapists and doctoral level therapists. Our wealth of interdisciplinary expertise and access to the large range of other JFS services is helpful in meeting the unique needs of each client. Additionally, we collaborate closely with schools, physicians, and other community resources. JFS Counseling Center services are available on an affordable
sliding-fee scale, based on income. We accept most insurance plans,
including Medicaid.

Groups & Workshops
The Counseling Center offers marriage workshops to create a caring Jewish home, support groups for families of adults with persistent and chronic mental illness, and through its Rafael Spiritual Healing Center, bereavement support groups.
Refugee Mental Health
We help refugees and immigrants from around the world deal with psychological trauma and the difficulties of adjusting to life in a new land.
KidSuccess School-Based Counseling Program
Our school-based counselors help at-risk students develop resiliency, self-esteem, and leadership skills to help them succeed in their life's path.
International KidSuccess: A Program to Help Refugee and Immigrant Students
International KidSuccess addresses the mental health needs of refugee and immigrant students in their school environment.
