Another Pair of Hands - For People Battling Cancer

Common household tasks can become major challenges for those who are undergoing treatment to fight cancer. These circumstances can be especially hard for people who are juggling their own health care needs with the needs of their loved ones.

Facts About Another Pair of Hands:

• JFS offers vital homemaker services to individuals faced with
   the challenge of cancer.
• JFS homemakers help alleviate your household chores, so you 
  can focus your energy on getting better.
• JFS homemakers provide two hours of light housekeeping and
  light meal preparation, as needed, weekly or every two weeks.
• The Another Pair of Hands coordinator can refer clients to other
  services, including counseling and support groups.
• Homemaker services are offered on an affordable sliding–fee
  scale based on income and range from $6-$17 per hour.

The homemakers of Another Pair of Hands help with household chores, allowing those with cancer to focus on recovery. For two hours every week or two, homemakers provide light housekeeping and meal preparation. Services are offered on an affordable sliding–fee scale based on income, and range from $6 to $17 per hour.

For Women with Breast Cancer
Thanks to the generosity of an anonymous donor, women with breast cancer can be assisted by Another Pair of Hands. Our homemakers can help with light housekeeping and meal preparation for women going through the challenges of breast cancer diagnosis and treatment. JFS can give you the homemaking support you need.
