Leslie and Michael's Story

Leslie and Michael, a young couple, had dreams of raising a family and having a long life together. They celebrated the birth of their first child, David and the future looked bright. Unfortunately, a few months after David’s birth, tragedy struck. Leslie’s life was cut short in a traffic accident.

In the aftermath of this tragedy, Michael came to JFS for help and support. His JFS counselor provides grief counseling to help him cope with his profound loss and find hope in the midst of heartbreak. JFS also has made sure that Michael gets the parenting support he needs. Our commitment to Michael and David will never waver.

For as long as they need our help and support, the JFS Counseling Center will be there for them.
