This Sunday, August 5, join Jewish Family Service and our community partners, for two fun outdoor activities!

Start your day with a 16-mile bike ride for Ekar Farm’s 3rd Annual Tour de Farm from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. On this ride along the Highline Canal bike path, you will stop at DeLaney Community Farm for a tour and fresh Palisade peaches, then on to Sprout City Farm at Denver Green School for another tour, and back to Ekar for grilled Colorado Olathe corn and live Bluegrass music!
All proceeds directly benefit Ekar’s programming and its ongoing donation of fresh, organic vegetables to Jewish Family Service’s Weinberg Food Pantry.
For the youngest riders, they can join the Lil Farmers Tour, a five-mile, two-farm tour with snacks and games!
Cost: $18 per rider, $50 per family. Register at www.ekarfarm.org today! Day-of registrations will also be accepted.

After the bike ride, go home, shower, and relax then head to City Park for Jazz in the Park for Young Adults at 6:00 p.m. Join Jewish young professional friends from JFS and other local organizations for an evening of music and fun. All of the City Park Jazz concerts take place at the bandstand by the Pavilion on Ferril Lake in Denver's City Park.
Look for the blue and white balloons to find our tent where we will have free drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and yummy snacks available. Come set your blanket down early to get a comfy spot near the stage.
You can bring a picnic dinner for yourself or to share with friends! RSVP on Facebook and invite all your friends! This is the last Jazz in the Park of the summer, so take advantage of our city's awesome free jazz event.
